Pre-Camp Conference
The Avanti Pre-Camp Conference is set! We hope you'll be joining us Thursday, June 27 from 8:30 a.m.--4:30 p.m. in Stillwater, MN. This is a fundraiser for camp, encourage your coworkers to attend! Learn more by viewing the flyer posted under Programs on this website. The Pre-Camp Conference is free to all Avanti staff, practicums, and volunteers.
Pre-Camp Preparations
Starting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 27 and going through Saturday, June 29, 2013 we will be making pre-camp preparations. The Pre-Camp and Sunday schedules will be distributed Thursday evening at camp.
Since the majority of us will be participating in the Pre-Camp conference until 4:30 p.m. in Stillwater, we will ask staff to get their own meal Thursday evening and get to camp ready to start by 6:30 p.m. This will allow some time to put your personal gear into place before we begin as well. We will begin with a greeting and overview, followed by meeting in work groups (practicums, Wonderlab therapists, cabin therapists, admin, etc.). Counselors will not join us until Friday morning. It is vital that all staff is present and ready to be a part of orientation by 8:00 a.m. Friday morning.
Post-Camp Clean Up and Closure
This will occur after dinner Friday, July 5 through noon on Saturday, July 6, 2013.
